Four ways to flip

How it is done
There is no upside-down font. Each letter is swapped for another character that looks like it turned over: ɐ for a, ǝ for e, ʇ for t, ∀ for A. Most come from the International Phonetic Alphabet, a few from maths and other alphabets. Some letters look the same upside down (o, s, x, z), so they stay.
Turning text upside down needs both steps: flip each letter and reverse the order. If you only want the letters turned, use "Upside down, same order".
Turning it back
Paste flipped text into Fancy to plain and press "It is upside down or backwards". Some pairs cannot be told apart once flipped (an upside-down d looks exactly like a p), so check the result.

No. Backwards only reverses the order. Mirror also swaps each letter for a reflected look-alike.
