How to copy and paste on any device

A few cursive, italic and gothic letters (for example โ, โ and โญ) come from an older Unicode block, so they can look slightly different from their neighbours on some devices. That is how Unicode encodes them, not a mistake in the table.
Questions
Why does nothing happen when I tap?
Some in-app browsers block copying from a web page. Press and hold the text in the card and choose Copy, or open this page in your normal browser.
Will the font stay when I paste?
Yes, as long as the app keeps the text as typed. Some apps that only accept plain names, such as most @usernames, will refuse the characters or remove them.
Do copy and paste fonts work on Windows?
Yes. Windows 10 and 11 come with fonts (such as Cambria Math and Segoe UI Symbol) that cover the common styles.
Can I copy a whole alphabet?
Yes. Select a row in the alphabet tables and copy it like any other text.
