Effective 2 October 2026. What you type never leaves your browser: it is not stored on a server, not sent to us and not sent to any analytics tool. Google Analytics runs only if you accept it; Cloudflare's analytics counts visits without cookies.
What you type
The text you type is turned into styles, symbols, pictures and text art by code running in your own browser. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.
Share links
A share link carries the style and your text after a "#" in the address. Browsers never send that part to the server, and our analytics strip it as well.
Google Analytics (only if you accept)
If you click Accept on the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages and styles are used, so we know what to improve. It sets first-party cookies whose names start with _ga. Google receives information such as the page address (without anything after ? or #), the referring page, your browser and device type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
We send three kinds of events: that a style was copied (the name of the style, never your text), that a symbol or face was copied on a page (the page, not the symbol), and that a picture was saved (PNG or SVG). We do not use Google Analytics for advertising; Google signals and ad personalization are switched off.
If you click Reject, or do not answer, the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all and nothing is sent to Google. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page; rejecting also deletes the _ga cookies.
Cloudflare
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and measures loading speed without cookies, without local storage and without fingerprinting, so it does not need your consent. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
What your browser keeps
- Your favourites, saved styles, recent copies, theme and slider settings, in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device and we cannot read them.
- Your last typed text, for the current tab only, so it carries over to another style page. It is cleared when you close the tab.
- Your cookie choice (Accept or Reject), so the banner does not ask again.
- A cached copy of the pages, so the site works offline. Clearing your browser data removes all of this.
Fonts and other services
The site's own font is served from this site. Apart from Google Analytics when you accept it, no other third-party service is loaded.
