Why small text is popular
Small caps look clean and calm in a bio and stand out without shouting. Tiny text works as a quiet second line, a signature, or a "whisper" in a chat. The Unicode letters used here come mostly from phonetic alphabets, which is why some letters are missing or borrowed from elsewhere.
Tiny letters are hard to read on small screens and are often skipped by screen readers. Use them for decoration, not for information.

Why are some letters not small?

What is the difference between small caps and tiny text?
Small caps sit on the line and are the height of a lowercase letter. Tiny text is raised, like an exponent.
Is there small text for numbers?
Tiny text and superscript use raised digits (¹²³). Subscript uses lowered digits (₁₂₃). Small caps keep digits normal.
